LGBTQ+ History Month

February 2021

February is LGBTQ+ History Month

February is LGBTQ+ History Month,  a time to celebrate and learn all about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (or questioning) history.

At Inclusion we believe in equality – that means that we believe everyone is equal and should be treated the same, with respect and kindness.  That is why it is so important to us to mark these events and help us to learn more about each other regardless of age, disability, race, religion or belief, gender reassignment, sex or sexual orientation.

This month we will be looking more at the history of the LGBTQ+ community, exploring more about what this means, looking at advocates and allies and creating some of our own work around this.

We’ve put together some info and resources where you can explore this more and we will be sharing some  of the amazing work our learners will be creating.
