Response to Covid-19

Spring Term - March 2021

We are delighted to be able to welcome back our learners from Monday 8th March.

Although we have been able to remain open from the start of the term at a reduced level, we are now  able to provide our regular opening hours to learners in line with current government advice.

Services from both Inclusion Learning Centre and Inclusion College will resume from this week (8th March) and all parents/ carers have been contacted with details of learner’s timetables.

Further information on our testing programme can be found below and we shall continue with preventative measures such as social distancing, hand washing and the wearing of face masks.

If there is anything our team can do to support you, or you have any questions or concerns about the new term, please contact us by email or call the Inclusion Hampshire mobile number 07497 173861 or the office on 01256 760 800.

We shall continue to post any updates on our website and via our social media channels as well as email to parents and carers.

Testing

We are implementing asymptomatic testing for staff and learners. This will help us to identify those who are Covid-positive but do not present with symptoms.

Learners and staff on site will be tested twice weekly.

Testing is not for those who present with Covid-19 symptoms or any illness. If your child presents with any symptoms please keep them at home, book a test and self-isolate until you receive the result.

We are strongly encouraging all learners to be tested on site. They will need to do this themselves but staff can support them to do this safely.

Guidance on how the test will be performed and some photos of our new look testing areas as well as our team in PPE will can be found on this page.

We have sent out a consent form – please do ensure this has been returned to us at Inclusion

Please be aware that if your child tests positive for Covid-19 after having received a test at Inclusion Hampshire it is your responsibility to collect them, even if they have other transport arrangements. When making your decision about whether you would like your child to attend this will no doubt be an important consideration.

If you have any further questions or concerns please contact us we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
