Head of Post 16 Education, Lead for SEN & Learner Welfare
I have worked for Inclusion Hampshire for over 10 years and in that time my role has encompassed teaching, supporting young people to develop life skills, Relationship and Sex Education and support, responsibility for learners with SEND, learner welfare and Safeguarding. I am now Head of the Post 16 provision and work to provide a safe supportive environment for learners aged 16 + who would benefit from developing resilience and strategies in order to progress on to further education or employment.

I have 40 years of experience working with young people with additional needs and their families. I have worked in mainstream Pupil Referral Unit’s, SEN Specialist Schools and have now been at Inclusion Hampshire for over 5 years.
Therapist & Learner Support
I have worked as a therapist and learner support at Inclusion Hampshire since 2011. I have gained my Counselling BA (Hons) through Greenwich University and progressed onto a post qualifying children and adolescent diploma. In addition to Inclusion Hampshire I have worked in a local counselling charity and mainstream college. I am currently one of the directors of a new social enterprise called Hart Counselling CIC, offering low cost counselling to adults, young people and couples based in Hook, Hampshire.
Currently a freelance Mental Health Trainer and Coach; I have a wide range of experience across the education sector and in business, engaged in supporting young people and adults experiencing a range of social and emotional issues, NHS Mental Health Trainer and advocate of Wellbeing for all.
Former Deputy Head in Pupil Referral Unit and Manager of Centre for Emotionally Vulnerable and Medically unwell. Experienced educator and passionate about helping people “be their best”.
I am a therapeutic counsellor specialising in Children & Young People. Since 2016, I have worked specifically with young people who enter adolescence with additional challenges such as complex disability, behavioural and/or developmental issues. It is very common for my client group to have diagnoses such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia and/or life limiting conditions. Prior to training as a counsellor I worked in both the public (Surrey Police & Hampshire Probation Service) and private sectors (Business Centers & Pharmaceutical Industry).
My name is Martin Hamblin and I have worked with Children, Adolescents and families for over 11 years. I work full time as an Emotional Health Worker for The Emotional Health Academy in West Berkshire and deliver early intervention for emotional health needs in schools, community hubs and the home.
