Job Role: English Tutor/ Subject Lead

Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week – permanent, term time

Essential: Level 5 minimum Ideal: Full QTS

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000  depending on experience

The increasing demand for Inclusion Hampshire’s pre-16 education provision has created an exciting new opportunity for a pragmatic, calm and compassionate individual who would like to make a real difference to the lives of local young people whilst maintaining a healthy and satisfying work-life balance.

We are looking for qualified teachers who want to work in a calm and supportive environment in which people really do come first. Our talented team of teachers include staff with mainstream school and healthcare experience who have sought a truly collaborative education setting that always places the needs of our learners at the heart of decision making. With the wellbeing of staff and learners at the heart of everything we do, our teachers are given the autonomy they need to do a great job – in their way.

You can expect to develop a positive and meaningful relationship with every one of our students with whom you will work closely – typically in settings of 2-8 students.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for designing and implementing the English curriculum for both key stages 3 (years 7-9) and 4 (years 10 & 11). You will have a passion both for your subject, for supporting the life long learning and wellbeing of the young people you will be working with and for dynamically meeting the needs of young people in your pursuit of fostering in them a love of learning.
